1970年8月28 日出生于格鲁吉亚首都第比利斯。

1976年在首都第比利斯少年宫学习雕塑知识。

1984年以优异的成绩被YAKOB NIKOLAZE 专业雕塑学校录取。

------ YAKOB NIKOLAZE 专业雕塑学校是以YAKOB NIKOLAZE先生的名字命名，YAKOB NIKOLAZE先生曾在法国拜著名雕塑家罗丹(RODIN)为师,是格鲁吉亚圆雕艺术的先导者。

1990年考入格鲁吉亚第比利斯国立艺术大学雕塑系深造，学期六年，获雕塑学士学位并取得讲师资格。

2002年获得雕塑艺术硕士学位。

2004年定居于中国北京。

2007年加入格鲁吉亚美术家学会。

2008年5月 作品《目标奥运》获得“2008奥运景观雕塑大赛”铜奖。

2008年作品《泳者》入选“北京双年展”。

2008年作品《春》 入选“中国长春国际雕塑邀请展”。

2008年作品《艺妓的爱2》《金色历史》《守卫和平土地2》入选孟加拉国首都达卡举行的第13届亚洲艺术双年展。

Aleksandre Gelashvili

Aleksandre Gelashvili was born in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, on August 28th, 1970.

1976   Began studying sculpture at the Children's Palace.

1984 Was admitted to YAKOB NIKOLAZE professional sculpture school after the recommendation with outstanding achievements.

(YAKOB NIKOLAZE professional sculpture school is named after Mr. YAKOB NIKOLAZE.He has ever studied in France following the famous master- RODIN. And he is also the precursor of the Georgian sculptured art. )

1990    Was admitted to the the Sculpture Department of the Georgia National University of the Arts. After 6 years’ study., he successfully acquired the bachelor's degree in Sculpture and the certificate of  instructor.

2002 Acquired the master's degree.

2003 Settled down in Beijing , China.

2007 Joined the Georgia Artists Association

2008/05 Won the Bronze Prize in the "Olympic Landscape Competition" with the works "The goal of the Olympic Games".

2008  The works "The Swimmer" was selected to participate in the Beijing Biennale.

2008 The works "Spring" was invited to the sculpture exhibition organized by the Changchun            Municipal Government in China.

2008 The works "The geisha’s love (Ⅱ)" "The golden history" and "Guard the peaceful territory" were selected to participate in the 13th Asian Art Biennale held in Dacca, the capital of .Bengal.
